Repair and fab shops
Scan the worn or broken part, then build the fixture or replacement from a real file instead of guesswork.
3D scanning for parts, prototypes and one-offs. Upfront example pricing, never hourly. Camden, SC.
The interactive viewer needs WebGL. Every job runs the same way: prep with targets, scan, raw mesh, cleaned mesh, then STEP CAD.
If you have a part in hand and need it as a file, we can probably help.
Scan the worn or broken part, then build the fixture or replacement from a real file instead of guesswork.
Turn a legacy or out-of-production component into workable CAD you can quote, change and remake.
Capture a one-of-a-kind object to reprint, resize or remix it without remodelling it by hand.
Recreate the knob, cover or bracket that nobody sells anymore and keep the machine running.
Four steps from your part to your files. You approve a written quote before any work starts.
Every scan is priced the same way: the part's size, plus its complexity, plus travel if we come to you. CAD is quoted separately.
Prices on this page are examples. Your written quote sets the final price before any work starts.
Measured on the part's longest side. Every size price includes the scan and a cleaned STL or OBJ mesh.

Tap a size, a complexity level and a travel option to build your price. Parts over 48 in get a feasibility check first.
Complexity is counted in features. A feature is any distinct shape we capture and clean up. More features mean more scanning and cleanup.

Example: a 10-inch flange with 8 features is medium and moderate, so $175 + 15% = $200.
If a part needs extra prep, such as chrome or clear plastic, your written quote says so before you approve anything.
Only if we come to you. Part too big or awkward to ship? We'll scan it where it is, within 40 miles of Camden. Travel is a flat fee based on one-way driving distance, added once per visit.
Distance is measured from Camden to your address. Shipping your part to us has no travel fee.
Fill in three blanks to see your price. Add your email and a photo, and you'll get a written quote.
To print a copy or check fit, a mesh is usually enough. To change dimensions, machine the part or hand it to an engineer, you need CAD. CAD is quoted separately, based on how complex the part is. Not sure which you need? Say so in your quote request and we'll advise.
Accurate enough for reference, printing and most repair and replacement work. We don't advertise a blanket accuracy figure. Fit-critical features are measured directly and noted in your delivery.
Scans come as a cleaned STL or OBJ mesh. CAD and reverse engineering jobs come as STEP, or native SolidWorks or Fusion files on request.
A few photos from different angles, one with a ruler or tape in frame, plus the longest dimension and what the part is for. That's usually enough for a firm price.
Clear, mirror-chrome and very dark parts may need a removable scanning spray, and we ask before using it. Blind holes and internal passages can't be captured optically.
You need to own the part or have the right to reproduce it. We decline jobs that copy protected designs without permission.
After you approve a written quote. The price is flat, not hourly, so the number you approve is the number you pay unless you change the job. Larger CAD jobs may need a deposit.
Yes. We scan on site within 40 miles of Camden for a flat travel fee from $25. Farther trips are by request.
They're used only to quote and complete your job. We don't publish or share them without your permission.
Scan-only jobs typically take a few business days once the part arrives. CAD timelines are stated on each quote.
